POST: Project Coordinator for Big Green Projects
RESPONSIBLE TO: CEO of Big Green Projects
LOCATION: Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
SALARY: £9.74 per hour for a 7 hour day
DURATION: 39 days from 1st March 2010 to 4th June 2010

PRIME OBJECTIVES OF THE POST:
Big Green Projects is a social enterprise that runs the Big Green Weekend event.

The prime objective of the post is coordinate the delivery of the Big Green Weekend event which runs over the weekend of May 29th to May 31st.

This involves tasks such as:

Ensuring the whole event runs to plan.
Coordinating the Green Market by liaising with stallholders and looking after the logistics of the market.
Booking acts such as street performers, musicians and entertainers.
Encouraging local businesses, organisations and people to get involved.
Liaising with local venues.
Design and distribution of promotional material.
Liaising with local media to promote the event.
Updating content on the web site (training given).

Working knowledge of:
Word, Excel is required.
Photoshop (or other design package) is desirable.

This post is offered as a temporary contract.
