"Gaza - Beneath the Bombs" Book Tour

The book I covered (and finished last night) by Sharyn Lock, together with Sarah Irving, in an earlier post, "Gaza - Beneath the Bombs" is now on tour.

Fitting events around her midwifery degree, Sharyn will be at the Trades Club for a special night, including Palestinian music and food, as well as a silent auction, on Saturday February 6th from 9pm.

Presented by: The Zanfha Initiative
Venue: Zion Arts Centre
Featuring: We’re joining in (between 5 and 7pm) with the Initiative’s Palestine Film Event. The event will celebrate the anniversary of Zanfha Initiative and a culmination of a year of fundraising for the childcare centre in Gaza. It will be a one day event with films shown by prominent Palestinian film directors, photo exhibition, crafts stalls of merchandise from Palestine, food of the region. Photo exhibition and short films by UNRWA will also be prominent at the event, and To Shoot An Elephant will be screened. Olive Co-op and Hadeel will be selling Palestinian goods too.
