Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns

Excited about a transition to a world beyond oil?
Worried about climate change, resource depletion and global uncertainties?
Want to make positive change in your community?
Like to develop a new skill as a facilitator?

Then become a MASTT Change Maker

Training day, Saturday March 28th, Parochial Hall, Marsden, 10.30am - 3.00pm

Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns (MASTT) is launching an exciting new initiative, the Change Maker Project. MASTT will train and equip a small group of motivated people to become Change Makers and support them to work with groups, clubs and businesses in our community so that in turn these groups have the opportunity to reflect on issues such as climate change and peak oil and make positive changes for themselves and the wider community. The Change Maker will guide groups through a series of focussed conversations and reflections that help the group to agree personal and collective changes that will reduce carbon emissions and improve the quality of community life.

There is no charge for the workshop, but theyask you to bring a contribution of food for lunch
