White Swan part 2

After the previous incident, I am very pleased to report that the White Swan landlady Liz came to see me and we had a very frank and honest conversation about what had happened.

She showed great character by doing this and we agreed to mend fences and that I would go back there with my family to eat after all.

It would have been very easy for her to have ignored the situation, especially as I am a perfect stranger, but her commitment to good customer service and the reputation of her pub made her courageously come and sort it all out.

Hers is an example that many other landlords could do with following.
