What has World Hunger to do with Me?

On Tuesday, 10th of February, from 8pm, the film "We Feed the World" will be shown at Marshall's Bar in Hebden Bridge.

In it, Austrian filmmaker, Erwin Wagenhofer, traces the origins of the food we eat. His journey takes him to France, Spain, Romania, Switzerland, Brazil and back to Austria.

We Feed the World is a film about food and globalisation, fishermen and farmers, long distance lorry drivers and high powered corporate executives, the flow of goods and cashflow; a film about scarcity amid plenty.

With its unforgettable images, the film provides an insight into the production of our food and will help you answer the question, "What has world hunger to do with me?"

From the information I have been given about this event by Rev Marcus Bull, there appears to be no charge either.
